  4. How do you eat whole grains and yet not eat processed foods?? No mention of adrenal weakness and the metabolism of sugars. Complex carbs (grains and starches) are too much sugar for adrenal glands that aren't producing enough cortisol, etc. True tho that eating whole fruits and veggies helps fix these problems over time. Just leave out the acid forming grains. Proteins will raise blood sugars as well, hence leave out the legumes. Although,they are less harmful than a lot of other foods.
