  1. I’m so confused. I’m 30 years old not overweight and been plant based for 3 years. My A1c got better but fasting sugar went from 85 to 115 or 118 . Makes no sense lol my total cholesterol went from 167 to 99 which is good but the fasting sugar thing has got me worried 😟

  2. I've been type 1 for 16 years and I just started taking care of myself a couple months ago. Most of my life I was 115-120 pounds now I'm 130. I just got my g6 today and hopefully I'll have the tslim pump soon I'm fighting with a company right now. Good job on how you've made yourself look, you are inspiring and I hope one day I can kinda have the physique you have. That had to of taken a lot of work and time to look like that.

  3. Great video! Glad you found the WFPB diet and hope you continue with it. I’m T1 for over 50 years and on an insulin pump. Have recently discovered it myself and so glad I did. After just about 8 months in my health has improved. All the same experiences (less insulin, weight loss, improved energy). I’m no longer obese and my blood work has been nothing short of amazing. My kidney function is actually improving! I only wish that I knew about this lifestyle 20 or 30 years ago. I highly recommend everyone (especially diabetics or those with other health problems) to switch to a WFPB diet. It works! As far as it being hard to do it isn’t really… think of it as eating to save your life because it literally is. Take care health warriors. 🙂

  4. you need fats good fats please!!! NO LOW FAT our brain is made out of fat, the brain needs fat to be nourished :coconut oil raw, cold press, olive oil, avocados .

  5. This “amazing fivu com” (Google it) is considered the most smart as well as easy to follow program for general health as well as treating diabetes. Through this plan, you can transform your diet and lifestyle without having to be particular about your carb or calorie. My transition to a more healthy lifestyle has not just helped me lose fat but also overcome diabetes as well as high blood pressure! The guide can really help you treat diabetes..

  6. Whole food plant based is awesome. That’s been my way for 3 years now!
The foods we eat have tons of fiber and doesn’t hit the blood as quickly! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥝🥝🍇🍇🥦🥦🥦

  7. Can you please repost this video with way less music or the music volume lowered sometimes it’s louder than your voice and it’s hard to hear you which is frustrating other than that wow epic great job

  8. I am Type 1 and changed my diet 8 years ago No milk bread tea coffee diet coke, so much better. One year ago went keto very low carbs and I mountain bike 5 times a week and dropped my insulin to very low amounts during day injection and cut my night long acting by half. When I cycle I would start at 4.5 mmol which I could never do before on carbs and I cycle for 2.5 hours and bloods average 2.5 to 4.4 to 5.4 and would go back down by themselves to 2.6 3.4 etc so am getting liver dumps of glucose and the lowest was 1.8 but when checked bloods again was up to 3.4 and still no insulin while exercise like I was pre keto. I have modified keto to more towards plant based and lowered protein as was getting liver conversion to sugars and my bloods would rise while exercise. I am still Type 1 but very low amount of insulin needed and my overall over 3 months is 5.4mmol . I have lots off peppers chilli sprouts cauliflower and spices and small amount off chicken and cook one meal a day and fast 16 hrs a day and now find it easy. I am never ill even when I get very wet from sweating or getting rained on and get chills, my skin is very good and if I crash and cut myself I heal very fast. The diabetic diet is poor and I only eat what grows above ground other than a some chicken now much to the upset of the doctors at the diabetic clinic because I am not following the western diet.

  9. Great and informative video! I'm insulin resistant and I have done paleo and I did strict keto and they work great for me. I'm intrigued by information on diabetics and eating plant based including grains. I always feel so sluggish when I have rice and beans but the thought of eating so clean like a vegan is very attractive to me. Also, I was shocked to see you became more sensitive to insulin while on this diet. Did you do low carb maybe? you ate very very clean! 🙂 Would love to know more on this, maybe I didn't understand it correctly. Thank you!

  10. Keep going man!! I will tell anyone going off meat. The craving go down with time.. it’s like any craving. The more time off you are the better it gets. Thanks for sharing this!!!

  11. Damn man….sugars dropping and you're thinking of going to a Hospital? Lol. Really? I've been a type 1 since 23. I'm now 61. Have a coke…pepsi….rootbeer whatever man. Have a glass of milk. Geezzzz.

  12. Kudos for the video content! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about – Patlarny Sugar Outcome Principle (google it)? It is a smashing one off product for reversing diabetes without the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy got astronomical results with it.

  13. I know! I know! He Dies! Only thing good about veganism is it has some similiarities to fasting… which is healing… but you need to get some nutrients after a while. Eat meat and thrive! Fast and Thrive!

  14. I agree that the low fat version of WFPB is hard/limiting (thought obsessing)…but because I'm starting to become diabetic and am fighting it off as best I can, I think I need to cut fats again. I applaud you for looking outside the standard recommendations for diabetes management. My blood sugar can drop rapidly at times, even though I'm not on meds. (I'm vegan.) I know that for we gals, our hormones DEFINITELY affect blood sugar control, so I'm wondering if male hormone fluctuations are what might have caused your body to behave differently on different days. And, sleep is an issue too. Unrelatedly, I'm also an actor…used to be in Hollywood but am now in Tamalewood (New Mexico). 🙂

  15. Very interesting! Glad you did okay mostly. I'm modified Bernstein, probably with more veg.
    The insulin sensitivity is interesting.
How did this vegan low-fat compare with your previous (or current) diet.
Were you doing low-carb, or mix of carb, fat and protein?
Did it mess with you gut — like too little or too much need to poop, or did it make you more gassy?

  16. You may need to cut out fruit for 30 days. I know it sounds crazy but I saw a video where a mom did that for her type 1 daughter, just to give the pancreas a chance to rest. Carrots also were cut also…All starchy fruit and vegetables because they stress the pancreas. She will add it back in slowly at some point. Just a suggestion. Also distilled water is alkaline! You won't get minerals from it, but will come from the fruit and vegetables you eat. Just plain distilled water is effective and cheap.
